What to expect...

If you are a caregiver that has taken the time to look for this kind of service - thank you for reaching out.  I'm here to help.

When you book an appointment online, I will call or email you before your first appointment.  This gives us both a chance to ask questions and together make a plan for your mobile massage appointment.

The day of your treatment

You may consider this day or time special, quiet, relaxing and peaceful - it may help to enhance your day of relaxation if you plan ahead and book accordingly.

It may be beneficial to have a shower or bath just prior to your appointment.

Consider having a snack or drink 1/2 hour before appointment so your body is nourished and hydrated.

*If you have symptoms of illness (fever, chills, cough, runny nose, vomiting etc) we will need to cancel and reschedule your mobile massage.

I will arrive 10 minutes early to set up and say hello, answer questions etc.

Whether you've booked a 30, 60, or 90 minute massage - the 1st minute of your appointment is when my hands are on a patients body.  Saying hello, petting your dog and taking my shoes off is not part of your treatment.  I include 10 minutes before and after each treatment as a buffer.

If you have a cat please let me know ahead of time so I can take the appropriate allergy medication - cat dander allergies will render me no good to you if I am unmedicated.

During your treatment

I will be using heated fractioned coconut oil for your massage treatment.

I can provide your massage on your couch, bed/hospital bed, chair or outside on the grass if that's where you'd prefer.

I will use a variety of massage techniques to manipulate and relax the muscles.

If at any time you are uncomfortable, you may pause or stop the massage treatment.

If you'd prefer more or less pressure, it is your decision. We will communicate throughout the treatment to ensure you are as comfortable as possible.

My main goal is to provide you with comfort and relaxation.

After your treatment

If it's possible to have a nap, a bath or quiet time after treatment - you'll enjoy the post-massage bliss longer than if you have to rush to another appointment.

Staying hydrated is always ideal.  Sip water or herbal tea for the remainder of your day.

If a friend or family member could help out and provide dinner or any kind of support later in the day - even better.

It's a beautiful thing to lean on the people that support you and ask for help when it's required.
